Lucia
 |
The “Feadship” m.y. Lucia makes a welcome return to Balk.
Built by Royal Van Lent for the late Jan van Lent to mark the occasion of his retirement in 1994, Lucia was unique for fitting so much in an 18 m boat (Feadships normally start at 35 m). Two years ago we had the pleasure of extending her by 2,5 m, working in partnership with Vripack Naval Architects.
Now the new owner has asked mr. Boot of Water Marine Consultancy to oversee the refit of Lucia’s interior. We are starting with the aft area, the owner’s stateroom and a new service area with laundry facilities. Also on the agenda in the coming weeks are modifications to the main lounge and a new interior for the wheelhouse, including installing the latest radars and pilot systems.
