Thalia
 |
Thalia was built by Vitters Shipyard in Holland and launched in 1994. She came to Balk for a refit in 2005 and was delivered in 2006.
We refitted the 48.50-metre yacht’s galley and crew mess, and reupholstered the walls and ceilings of the guest cabins. The air-conditioning system, deck-to-hull seams, paint system, batteries and exhaust system were renewed and the superstructure was refinished.
Ron Holland’s design for Thalia reflects a yacht of classic lines incorporating the timeless elements so attractive in an earlier generation of large racing yachts. In addition to being an aesthetic triumph, her long overhangs and classic sheer offer a tremendous performance.
