Shamoun


The 33.50-metre classic sloop Shamoun, designed by Andre Hoek, is a luxury modern classic sail boat which combines the grace, class and elegance of an older classic yacht with the performance, practicality and amenities of a modern one. This award-winning yacht arrived at Balk in early 2008 and we quickly got to work. Her engines were removed then reinstalled after some revision work. Various pumps were upgraded, Shamoun’s paint system was repaired and her underwater ship was repainted. In addition, part of the galley was renewed, the drinking water system was updated and serviced, the anchor layout was overhauled and various other repairs were carried out.
