Cornelia

The 34-metre De Vries Lentsch-designed Cornelia has been to Balk on three occasions since her launch in 2006.

The initial visit saw various adjustments made to the interior, working in partnership with Felix Buitendijk. We also adjusted the layout of the bridge and console, and upgraded the air conditioning system. Major work was carried out on the lazarette and the tender launch system, and various electrical upgrades were made.

The second visit comprised some re-engineering of the engine room and various technical aspects. Now Cornelia’s delighted owner is having a completely new engine room installed to bring her fully up to the standard of the Dutch superyacht industry. All the previous systems are being upgraded and new monitoring & control and electrics installed.

In addition to these revisions, many of Cornelia’s systems are being completely renewed. Highlights include the fitting of new generators and air conditioning, an extension of the shorepower converters and much more besides.

Once Cornelia finally gets back to sea, she will be in a vastly superior condition to how she was originally built. Her owner can be assured of years of pleasurable cruising.
